Bill grew up and farmed in the Pathlow-St. Brieux area with his brother Hector. After retiring, he moved into Melfort where he continued with his hobbies of gardening, carpentry, as well as helping out in the farming community. He was always willing to lend a hand and would not take anything in return. The teapot was always onwith endless lokes, laughter and lighthearted conversation. His personality was infectious and was guaranteed to make you smile. He always made time to say "Hi" no matter where or when. He will be deeply and sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Bill is survived by son Bill Looker of Calgary; lifelong friend Lucy Looker of Melfort; close niece Maureen Jackson of isdale; as well as numerous neices and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents John and Myrtle; his brothers John, Harry, Hector and Jim; his sister Kathleen.

William died January 8, 2008, in Saskatoon, SK. William is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Melfort, SK.
